Proudly Designed and Hand Made in Australia
Ignite your curiosity and connection to the natural world
Natura jewellery is created by respectfully collecting elements like leaves, seeds, pods, shells, tree bark and flowers from our native environment. Using a variety of specially developed techniques we create impressions of each element and then produce them in sterling silver, bronze, brass and gold.
Our favourite time to gather is after a thunder storm, rain and wind blows the most beautiful elements to the ground.
Silver bronze and brass have been selected for their natural patina and oxidising qualities. These are perfect for representing natural elements, adding richness and tonal variation to your piece. Some of our pieces also feature carefully selected natural coloured gemstones.
Each piece of natura jewellery is unique and has been individually handcrafted into a fine quality piece of jewellery for you.
The understated beauty of Melaleuca leaves with their subtle texture and organic form effortlessly translate into contemporary jewellery that contours to your body.
Australia's iconic Eucalyptus trees are bursting with wonderous flowers and seeds that are perfect for creating statement earrings. Crafted in bronze and sterling silver and naturally oxidised, wearing these beauties will evoke the spirit of Australia's native landsacpes.
Care and commitment
Working with natural elements has taken Australian Jewellery Designer Sarah Taylor and the small team of artisans she works with on a journey of deepening appreciation and connection to the natural world.
This has lead to a growing desire to care for and contribute towards Australian native habitat and wildlife conservation.
Almost 80% of all our species are only found here. Currently 1800 plants and animals are endangered and at risk of becoming extinct.
Natura Jewellery is committed to helping protect threatened species by donating to birdlife.org.au, acf.org.au and The Seedling Bank. These organisation works closely with the natural habitat of birds and animals to ensure there is a safe place for them to live and breed.
